5 reasons NOT to create a lead magnet
Before you spin your wheels on a freebie, watch this quick episode
Do you have a lead magnet? Thinking of creating one?
Lead magnets are free downloads used to entice someone to join your email list. Perhaps that’s even how you got here! I have a few floating out there.
Lead magnets can be a great way to build your email list but they can also be a bit of a black hole. To be effective at attracting leads, they’ve got to be built on a really clear picture of who your buyer is, where you reach them and what they want to solve.
And you have to nail all that while showing them the possibilities of a solution without fully solving it because that’s where your services come in!
It’s a lot to get right in one go!
You’re probably hearing that you need a lead magnet but you don’t and in fact, it can be a big waste of your time if you’re not ready to get it right.
This week’s episode of The Low Energy Leads Show is about the 5 reasons NOT to create a lead magnet. You can catch it on YouTube, Spotify or Apple Podcasts and it’s a pretty quick listen!
If you already have a lead magnet, reply and let me know. I’d love to hear how you’re thinking about it.
