Why I pivoted into a newsletter business and where email could help you sell more
Email is practically my whole personality now.
Bet you didn’t know my dream job as a kid was “newsletter expert.” 😜
Couple weeks ago, I was sitting in a meme marketing call with Jason Levin’s Strategists community.* We’re talking about how memes drive sales.
One guy says he’s posting memes all the time but they are not converting into sales.**
Filip and I both chime in to say how email marketing might be the missing piece and another member says:
“So say the email people.”
Yeah, but we became email people for a reason.
Because it works.
Not just that. It’s one of the lowest effort, highest value marketing strategies you can deploy. There are so many unmatched advantages.
I used to tell Growthtrackers they could choose any channels they wanted (which is true) but now I’d say, if you don’t include email, you’re making your life harder than it needs to be (also true).
To put it simply: email allows you to sell without a sales call.
